PartsTech is headed to the ASTA Expo! If you will be there, we can’t wait to meet you!

We’ve compiled some helpful tips, links, and information to help you make the most of your time at the ASTA Expo:

Define what you want to get out of the ASTA Expo

Events like the ASTA Expo are incredible for learning, career growth, and networking, but you won’t have time to do it all. To help you narrow your focus and prioritize what you want to accomplish at the event, it’s essential to define what you’re hoping to learn and experience.

To pinpoint your goals for the conference, ask yourself questions like:

  • What do I want to learn?
  • Who do I want to meet?
  • What are my networking goals?

Create a focused statement from your answers, such as: “I want to attend ASTA to learn more about business growth strategies, connect with vendors that can improve my shop’s efficiency, and build relationships with other shop owners in the industry.”

A clear goal will guide you throughout the event and help you prioritize how to spend your time to get the most out of ASTA.

Map out your schedule ahead of time

The best way to maximize your experience is by planning your schedule. Think about:

  • Who you want to talk to
  • Which sessions will further your learning and development the most
  • Which vendors you want to visit
  • What special events you wish to attend

If two things you want to attend overlap, use your focused-statement (discussed above) as a filter to help you choose the best option that aligns with your goals.

Write down your schedule and take it with you.

Download the Cvent Events app (Google Play Store | Apple App Store), search for “ASTA Expo,” and create your schedule within the app! The app will send you reminders and also includes an expo floor map.

And don’t forget to leave some time to eat!
